April Fool’s Party!

This year’s April Fool’s party is going great! It’s kind of like a collage or scrapbook. There are different textures for every room. The rooms that aren’t decorated often has been decorated, like the Gift Shop and Sports Shop. My favourite decorated room is the dock. When you walk, you go really fast! Some places you should visit are: The Beacon – look through the telescope!; Sports Shop – inverted colors look.

The pin is in the Mine; you have to complete the dot-to-dot to get the red crayon pin. There are two free items: the swirly glasses at the Cove, and the red propellor hat at the Ski Village. I think the swirly glasses look neat, I like it better than last year’s fake mask.
<edit>I just found out that if you threw snowballs in the Lighthouse, the snowballs become paint balls! Also, in the Dance Lounge, Thin Ice and Astro-Barrier has combined into a new game called the “Thinicetrobarrier”! AND, in the CPIP, all penguins turn into green puffles! Try putting on your propellor hat! It’s cool what happens.</edit>

The newspaper today was really really amusing. Well, they draw on the newspaper to make it quite funny, although I don’t think it’s really that funny. Anyways, it was pretty good. Like instead of Club Penguin Times, it was Club Times Penguin. Also, they had this Social Scene page, where they said in honour of April Fool’s Day, they had a penguin of the month. The trick is, whatever your penguin’s name is, it’s on the newspaper. For example, my penguin is Sophies417, and they said that the penguin of the month is Sophies417. Try it with your different penguins! Also in the newspaper, remember the part of Ask Aunt Arctic? It changed this time into Ask Gary the Gadget Guy, hahaha. After a few pages, you’ll come to the riddle part. They have a button that says “Do Not Press”. And I warn you, really, don’t press! Unless you don’t read the riddles, or you’ve already read the riddles. It makes a big hole there, and even if you close the newspaper and open it up again, it still has the hole.

Now now, I won’t spoil the surprise for you for more amazing things, you’d better find out yourself!

Easter Egg Hunt!

The Easter 2008 egg hunt has begun! To start collecting, you’ll need to click the white egg icon in the top right hand corner of the page. Whenever you scroll over one of the blanks, it will give you a clue of where the egg is hidden, the characteristics, and etc. The egg hunt this year was hard, in my opinion. Well, not that hard, but harder than last year’s. Anyways, here are where the eggs are hidden this year (Egg-Place Found):

1. Flame egg – mine lanterns
2. Lifesaving Ring egg – dock, near Hydro-Hopper
3. Puffle egg – cage with red puffle inside, in Pet Shop
4. Cactus egg – Coffee Shop, on top of book shelf
5. Tuxedo egg – on a poster inside Gift Shop
6. Lantern egg – the left lantern, in between Pet Shop and The Stage
7. Wooden egg – inside cardboard toy box in the Attic
8. Black Ninja egg – pops all around the Dojo; catch it in time, or it disappears!

Besides the eggs, the furniture catalog has been updated! I don’t really find it much interesting. The Penguin Band poster is quite neat though! The hidden items are the Pipe Organ and can be found clicking the piano. And to get Concert Lights, click on the Home Stereo.
